Principal and Chief Administrator

Dr. Fred W. Ball. Jr. of Decatur, Georgia comes to PASSAGE Christian Academy from the field of applied Christian Studies. He holds a Doctoral degree in Christian Thought from American University, a Masters degree in Theology from Luther Rice University, and a Bachelors degree in Political Science from Georgia State University. Dr. Ball is an ordained minister and chaplain.

Dr. Ball has been active in Christian education for over 10 years and has taught History, Bible, and Apologetics at the prestigious Whitefield Academy in Atlanta, the Dekalb Homeschoolers Association, the Lilburn Alliance Homeschool Association, and was an adjunct instructor at Georgia State University. In private business, Dr. Ball was the Regional Program Coordinator for University Instructors, Inc., a Title I tutoring company serving the state of Georgia. While with UI, Dr. Ball was a curriculum developer and master tutor in Social Studies and History. He is married to Deloris Wade Ball of Lancaster, South Carolina. They have a son, Nile Patrick, currently a freshman at Whitefield Academy.
