Through use of 21st Century curriculum, progressive methods, skilled and spirit-led staff, and integration of biblical principles, PASSAGE Christian Academy offers the best Christ-centered learning experience for children in Alachua County.
Our mission is to provide children a superior, well rounded academic education and foundation in an environment that fosters a healthy Christian lifestyle in preparation for world leadership and success—in both the Kingdom and secular arenas.
Students receive personalized instruction tailored to their strengths and needs by a team of highly skilled educators and aides. Our core curriculum includes the nationally recognized A.B.E.K.A. curriculum for kindergarten through 3rd grade, the A.C.E. (Accelerated Christian Education) curriculum for grades 4th-12th, in addition to Florida Virtual School options for middle and high school students.

Primary School (K-2nd Grades)
Our Kindergarten, First, and Second Grade levels are our Primary School. It is the introduction of the formal education process to young students. PASSAGE Christian Academy uses the nationally recognized Abeka curriculum for each grade level in this stage as our educational base for learning. Our teachers are professionally trained to follow the scope and sequence of the lessons and work progressively with your child in classroom, small group settings, and one-on-one. The Abeka system reinforces important moral values while maintaining challenging academic standards. There is plenty of time for art, music, media, and play.
Elementary School (3rd-5th Grades)
Our Third, Fourth, and Fifth grades are our Elementary School. The Elementary levels are the transition stages in the academic sequence where learning becomes more complex for children. Depth of understanding is emphasized in addition to memorization. The teacher’s proficiency in each subject assists the student in progressing through these grades successfully. Our Third grade students uses the nationally recognized Abeka curriculum; and The gradual introduction of the A.C.E. system of learning begins at the 4th & 5th grade levels. Students begin taking Physical Education and Chorus as classes as well as having sufficient time for recess.
Middle School (6th-8th Grades)
The Sixth, Seventh, and Eighth grades are the levels in which students begin to express stronger individualistic traits in their approach to the lessons. Recognizing this unique stage of adolescent development is essential to helping them succeed. Our curriculum for this stage shifts exclusively to the Accelerated Christian Education (A.C.E.) system. The A.C.E. system is based on individualized learning which de-emphasizes the one-size- fits-all approach to knowledge. At this level students are developing strong social bonds, so an emphasis on team play, clubs, skits, and team sports is encouraged.
High School (9th-12th Grades)
The Ninth, Tenth, Eleventh, and Twelfth grades represent the highest stages of adolescent to young adult formal education and are where complexity of thought and depth of subject matter come together. It is at this stage where subject mastery is sought after for our students. The base curriculum at this stage is the A.C.E. system, however other scholastic options including online classes and dual enrollment are utilized to challenge students to excel. In grades nine and ten, simple mastery of the core curriculum subjects is expected and should be demonstrated for matriculation. At the eleventh and twelfth grades, students are sharply focused on an academic pathway towards college-prep, career path, vocational, or general education. Scholar-athletes are permitted to play sports at a FHSAA member school and maintain active enrollment at PCA.
