Starting off with a new school year in Christ - a little differently than normal.
Well, it’s been TEN days! School is underway and we are in good shape.
Though we are in the midst of a pandemic, our God has supplied all of our needs according to His riches in glory, by Christ Jesus (Phil. 4:13). We also have his promise of protection as found in Isaiah 41:10: Fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God; I will strengthen you, I will help you, I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.
What a promise!
As it now stands, students are trickling back to PCA little by little. Families are beginning to think seriously about the return to school. The COVID numbers in Alachua County have not been out of bounds and are quite in the middle for the majority of the counties in the state. There are a couple of new student applications we are considering even as I write. And as I’ve said before and will say again: we will get through this!
Parents have asked about uniforms orders and we are expecting them to arrive no later than next week. However, we do have gently used uniform shirts and pants on sale at PCA for $5 each. Sizes are limited. Come check them out when you get an opportunity.
Classes have been carrying on efficiently and effectively. Mitigation has been particularly good. Students are responsive to our commands and are learning many new things. It’s great to be back at school.
I will be updating this blog regularly, so stay tuned. Be encouraged!
